Nicole F. Besu, D.M.D., M.D.S.

Dr. Besu’s patients admire her skill and appreciate her sensitivity and care. Extensively trained in everything from periodontal surgery to tissue graft contouring and dental implants, she has ample experience in reducing or reversing the potentially devastating effects of gum disease and attaining comprehensive periodontal care. Graduating in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Dr. Besu enrolled in Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine in 2000. Once she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2004, she earned a Masters in Dental Science at the University Of Tennessee Health Science Center College Of Dentistry in Memphis. A member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Dr. Besu has taught implant surgery and provided vital dental services to the less fortunate at Miami’s Robert Morgan Educational Center and has been one of the driving forces behind a new dental clinic tending to the children of migrant workers at St. Anne’s Mission in Homestead, Florida. Dr. Besu also has served on the Board of Directors for the Ambassadors of Mercy, helping to raise awareness and funds for Mercy Hospital in Miami. She enjoys traveling, fishing, salsa dancing, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
